Abstract

This project explores the application of genomics technologies to nanotechnology, to provide faster, cheaper, and more sophisticated ecotoxicity testing.... The goal was to demonstrate the potential of this [microarray] approach for ecotoxicity screening by collaborating directly with a company that had developed an engineered nanomaterials. The company, Toda, manufactures Reactive Nano-Iron Particles (RNIP), which are currently being used to remediate toxic waste sites
