Abstract

A new strategy for generating patterns in sensing is described. Typically, pattern recognition is obtained by designing a variety of receptors that bind to analytes with varying binding affinities. In this paper, we outline a new strategy where differential responses can be obtained from one receptor, by simply varying the noncovalently bound fluorescent transducer.
